Terms of Service

Last updated: September 22, 2025

1. Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of oligosec.org and the Oligo runtime security platform (together, the "Service") operated by Oligo Security, Inc. ("the Company"), a California corporation at One Sansome Street, Suite 3500, San Francisco, CA 94104. Using the Service means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use it.

These Terms cover visitors, early-access program participants, and customers using the Service, including through Pilot and Team tier accounts. Your enterprise subscription may be subject to a separate written agreement; if it conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls.

2. Use of the Service

  • You must be 18 or have a parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Service.
  • Do not use the Service unlawfully, disrupt its operation, or seek unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
  • Do not use the Oligo platform for security assessments, penetration tests, or exploit research on systems you do not own or lack explicit written authorization to test.
  • Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy any Service component unless applicable law permits it.

3. Intellectual Property

Oligo Security, Inc. or its licensors own the Service, including text, graphics, logos, software, eBPF detection logic, and security research published in the Security Lab. United States and international intellectual-property laws protect it. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for its intended purpose. You may share Security Lab articles for non-commercial, educational purposes with attribution to Oligo Security, Inc.

4. User Content

You are responsible for content submitted through the Service, including contact forms, support tickets, and email, and confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it. You grant the Company a limited license to use, store, and process that content as needed to provide the Service, answer your inquiry, or meet your service plan's terms. We do not use submitted content to train machine-learning models without your explicit written consent.

5. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OLIGO SECURITY, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL DETECT ALL SECURITY THREATS OR PREVENT ALL EXPLOITATION EVENTS; RUNTIME DETECTION REDUCES RISK BUT DOES NOT ELIMINATE IT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OLIGO SECURITY, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oligo Security, Inc. against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your Service use, breach of these Terms, or violation of a third-party right.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end Service access at any time, with or without notice, including for violating these Terms or using the Oligo platform for unauthorized security testing. Provisions meant to continue after termination will do so, including Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10.

9. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

California law governs these Terms, without applying its conflict-of-law principles.

Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim, contact the Company at [email protected] and try informal resolution for at least 60 days.

Arbitration. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered in California, USA under the rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"). Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and Oligo Security, Inc. each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

Exception. Either party may request injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in California, USA for intellectual-property infringement or unauthorized Service access.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. We will post material changes with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
